Guidelines for creating a killer job description

1.  Always include the CAD software package you use.
2.  Try to give a good description of your company, including the culture and personality.
3.  Use standardized titles.  If you're not sure what title to ask for, search the database to get a feel for what most people use.
4.  Be specific about the level of training and experience desired.
5.  Be sure to include a salary range.  Talent will often pass over a posting without a posted salary.
6.  Always say where the job is located.
7.  Make sure your posting includes the keywords for the skills you are looking for (i.e. drafter).
8.  Explain the role and responsibilities a prospective talent would need to fulfill.  The best talent will want the most detail.
9.  If the position includes benefits, be sure to mention them.
10.  Be clear about the next step you want a prospective candidate to take.
